Abiquiu, El Rito, and Ojo Caliente, New Mexico
Repeat clients initially referred to us from Chama Valley Clients:

El Rito work began in a pair of rooms in the back of the library, leading to upgrades to a small storefront clinic in a former bar in Ojo Caliente.
Ojo Caliente’s clinic then became a freestanding facility, designed around an entry courtyard. A pitched metal roof. always planned was added a decade later.
We designed a small clinic at Abiquiu, hoping with Administration that the need would outgrow the facility. As hoped, the need was there, and the second facility was designed on a large parcel which afforded us the chance to plant an adjacent apple orchard.
The new Abiquiu clinic has solar electric panels which meet its needs, and a sophisticated yet simple ground source heat pump which eliminates gas heating.
Natural light is always important, as is patient privacy. Solar orientation and shading of windows is also carefully adjusted for each side and every window.
